House prices up on last year

House prices are up on last year, but fell slight in April. Figures from the Halifax found prices are 6.6 percent higher than they were a year ago. But there was a slight dip in April as they fell by 0.1 percent. Last month the average cost of a home stood at £168202. Those struggling to get on the property market because of debt problems may benefit from an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA). It’s a good debt solution for people with over £15000 unsecured debts as you can pay back a manageable amount each month for 5 years. The price rise is the fastest annual rate of increase since October 2007.
