Brits took on more debts in March

Brits took on more debts in March. Figures from the Bank of England show there was an increase in net lending last month. Unsecured debts, like money owed on credit cards, rose by £300 million. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) is one way of tackling unsecured debts over £15000. It could make debt management much easier, as you can agree to pay only what you can afford in regular payments over 5 years. In February consumer credit grew by £600 million suggesting a slow-down in the growth rate.
