There’s good news for Brits struggling with debt problems as stats show the average amount people in the UK are being paid has gone up. Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show, regular pay without bonuses has risen by 1.7 percent in the last year which could help many with their debt management. The average weekly pay between December 2009 and February 2010 was £428. But the need for debt advice is stronger than ever. It has been announced this week that cost of living has risen to 3.4 percent and official unemployment figures show 2.5 million are out of work.
